Le Romantisme Allemand
For the new collection „Le Romantisme Allemand“, FRNKOW incorporates German Romantic symbolism into modern menswear design. With the fusion of historical influence and contemporary style, Creative Director Frank Lin invites wearers to experience the profound beauty and introspection inherent in German Romanticism, using earthy tones and tactile fabrics. Inspired by nature, moss greens and rustic browns dominate the palette.
Wool, cotton and silk were chosen for their haptic appeal, embodying the movement‘s connection to the organic world. Silhouettes embrace romanticism, with flowing lines and details reminiscent of the period.
German Romanticism was an artistic and intellectual movement in late 18th and early 19th century Germany characterized by a deep fascination with nature, emotion and the individual‘s connection to the sublime. Read more about the movement here.
